Help! Hypothesis for problem?

What does the hypothesis mean?

A center conducts a survey on starting salaries for college graduates and publishes its observations in the paper. The two variables, 'Lib Arts' and 'Acctg', give the starting annual salaries obtained from independent random samples of Liberal-Arts graduates and Accounting graduates. Data are in thousands of dollars.

Ho:Lib Arts: u1 , Accounting u2 =0

Ha:Lib Arts: u1 , Accounting u2 =0

t-Statistic : -2.01

F:0.0741

df:9

Help! Hypothesis for problem?
To me, it means that there is little or no definitive correlation between the two.
