Sein fein and dup in government?

this is an independent personal survey to try and find out how many people on each side of the divide in n.ireland think their politicians sold them out in setting up the assembly in n.ireland. do protestants agree that it is acceptable after all the atrocities carried out by the ira. do catholics agree it is acceptable after all the sacrifices including the hunger strikes by volunteers. do you think you have been sold out for high salaries and armani suits?

Sein fein and dup in government?
Depends if they want a peaceful end to the troubles in NI or if they want to carry on seeing their loved ones, friends and neighbours dying around them. Most of the NI residents I know just want peace. Hard line uncompromising Repubs or Loyalists are in the minority.

There comes a point where you have to put down the guns and actually talk to each other. Nothing can be achieved otherwise. As Jim says, they've drawn a line in the sand and are trying to move forward in a positive, non violent way.
Reply:[ not sold out ]draw a line in the sand and hopefully start a peace-full solution and the beginning of the end of violence for everyone
Reply:its rather strange to have murderers within the government.... though!! on saying that! Briton had a world renowned liar and mass murderer in Tony Blair so i supose its not so bad.
