Quantity surveying and Project manager Advice?

What is the better job in your opinion or are there any other jobs that are better in the construction area? Information on both jobs would be appreciated (salary etc). Thanks alot :)

Quantity surveying and Project manager Advice?
Unfortunately, I have no experience in quantity surveying. But I can say that being the Project Manager is a rewarding experience that makes you want to rip your eyes out. Your pay varies on the job, but it is one of the highest salaries on site. You just have to know how to be flexible and patient, because you will have to deal with a LOT of things going wrong. I remember once I was helping out with an education building and the holes in the floors/ceilings (for cables and networking) weren't lining up, so we had to change it around a little bit. Stupid us didn't realize that the shifting created enough distance that our pre-built staircase didn't fit, so we had to scrap the entire concrete staircase and have a new one built, so we wasted materials, money, and had to wait 2 weeks for the staircase to come in. We got yelled at a lot for that mess-up.
