Atheists, I have a simple survey for you...?

1. How old are you currently, and how old were you when you first decided that you don't believe in god?

2. What is your current occupation, and what is your salary? (Oh, c'mon! It's the Internet. Just tell me :-)

3. What is your favorite movie of all time?

The only reason I'm asking this is because I'm feeling a bit random tonight, and I wanted to get to know my fellow atheists a little better. We're like family here.

Atheists, I have a simple survey for you...?
1.

I am 40 years and 6 months old. I realized that I was an atheist about 5 months ago. It wasn't a decision. It was a realization. I simply lost faith. If there is a God, it must be His will that I did so.

2.

I am a Law Enforcement Officer, and I make about 70,000 to 80,000 a year.

3.

It would be a tie between Pitch Black (with Vin Diesel) and Snatch (Directed by Guy Ritchie).

Welcome to the family, Cuzzz.

El Chistoso
Reply:1. I am 35 now. I decided at 14, but I first realized I had doubts at 8.

2. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of two kids (ages 15 and 8). My husband is in the military and I am honestly not sure what his salary is. it's enough to pay the bills :p

3. Favorite movie.. that's a tough one. I have many! Can I limit it to 4? All of the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Star Treks (I like movies with sequels lol)
Reply:1. I'm 17, I became an atheist two years ago.

2. Walmart Cashier-$9.30 an hour

3. Pulp Fiction
Reply:Interesting.... and a good reason to ask a question. Star for you.

I think it's about a 50-50 split of religious and non religious here on Y/A, R%26amp;S. I'm an atheist like you.

I'm 60 years old and I've been atheist on an off since I was a little kid. I really decided things at around the age of 25-27.

I retired about ten years ago, (dropped out actually,) and I've enjoyed it more and more each year. Money...? I don't make a dime.

Best movie of all time... Dr Zhivago. It's a terrific historical fiction of the Russian revolution and it's told as a marvelously romantic love story.

I enjoy making short animations like this one:

2. Mural artist and it varies on how much work I get in a year.

3. To Kill a Mockingbird.
Reply:1) I'm 34. I started having my doubts somewhere in my early teens when a good friend of mine committed suicide. My "transformation" into Atheism was a slow and gradual process that finished itself somewhere in my early twenties.

2) I retired from being a personal fitness trainer in order to recover from cancer treatments, as well as gain steady employment in order to pay off a mountain of bills. Presently, I push buttons at a plant that tests computer memory modules. The pay? Enough, m'kay?

3) I'm a huge movie fan, so narrowing it all down to one movie is absolutely impossible. Top three? Jaws, First Blood, and Conan the Barbarian. I have my reasons!
Reply:I'm 17, I considered myself a true 'atheist' ohhh...couple years ago. I'd always had the questions in my mind, but dogma kept me too afraid to ask them. No steady job at the moment. More like a freelance artist (makes fair money though). I usually get 50-400$ per job depending on how great a task it is. Favorite movie...Hard to say. Possibly Spirited Away (what can I say, great flick) or...The butterfly effect.
