And about how much does a department head make? and i've heard you can upgrade by taking a couple of courses, which also results in a salary increase? please let me know, i'm surveying for a friend who's very much interested in becoming a high school teacher, but wants to make sure it's a job that can offer her stability and still be able to enjoy her more expensive interests.
